i-Dosing: digital drug tested
Forget about marijuana and hash, the latest and coolest soft drug is called iDosing. iDosing are in fact audio doses that you can download from the internet and that should bring you into the same high as marijuana, cocaine, heroin and other drugs.
It’s unbelievable what I-doser.com offers you as to drugs, alcohol and medication. There are i-doses against headaches, hangovers and insomnia. Other doses satisfy your sexual needs (orgasm, masochism, a quickie). You can buy alcohol doses (with for example absinth) and i-doses for weird experiences such as the ‘Luciddream’, which would enable you to control your dreams and the ‘cliffhanger’. This audio dose promises to make you feel as if you are standing on an abyss with your toes over the edge and with a light dizziness in your head, as you experience at high altitudes (not for beginners!). And then there are the drugs: marijuana, speed, LSD, cocaine, heroin, xtc,…
One of Humo’s reporters (a Flemish magazine in which this article appeared) experimented with several of these drugs. First of all he tested cocaine: an audio dose of $ 3,75 (about € 2,90) that plays for half an hour. He was promised lots of things: higher alertness, a better mood, medium to extreme euphoria, no more being tired, better athletic performances, a clear mind, better concentration, more energy. Result? “After 30 minutes it felt as if my head got stuck between a bench-vise. Headache, earache and totally exhausted. It didn’t feel like cocaine at all.” The other drugs that were tested by the reporter, namely heroin, LSD and marijuana, didn’t have the desired effect either.
